Climate Science Panel Will Discuss Ethics

The next Climate Action Forum topic will be The Ethics of Taking Action: Should I Be Doing Something? The panel will be moderated by Berkeley College Professor Larry Froelich, Management, and will feature Sebastian Font, of Critical Performance, LLC; Professor Joy Browne, Liberal Arts and Sciences; and Berkeley student leaders Deylis Linares and Sally Portes.

Tonight's panel discussion will be moderated by Cynthia Rubino, Berkeley College Vice President of Government Relations, New York and Campus Operating Officer, Westchester Campus. The topic is "Climate Science: What's Happening with the Climate?"

Our panelists include Berkeley College Professor, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Laura Harste; Berkeley College Professor, Management, Fernando Villegas; and Journal News Environmental Reporter Greg Clary.

Welcome to the Climate Action Forum

In the interest of offering the Berkeley College community and the public a forum to discuss climate science, the Project GreenPath Committee has planned this virtual Climate Action Forum. A series of panel discussions will be held at Berkeley College campuses and will be videotaped and streamed live from this blog.

The panel discussions are designed to start the conversation about climate change and action. Everyone is invited to continue the conversation by posting comments to this blog. Project GreenPath Committee members will moderate the discussion.

The first panel discussion, "Climate Science: What's Happening with the Climate?" will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 6:30-7:30 pm.
